1. On the dash, open Settings → Pair phone. It shows a six-digit passkey.
2. Open the RennDash app and choose your dash.
3. When iOS asks for a code, enter the passkey from the dash.

After that the app remembers your dash and reconnects on its own whenever it's in range, without asking for the passkey again.

“Pairing out of sync” usually means the dash was unpaired but your iPhone still remembers it. Open iOS Settings → Bluetooth, tap the info button next to RennDash, choose Forget This Device, then pair again.

Stuck on “loading dashboard” after pairing: forget the dash in iOS Settings the same way and pair again.

Each time the app connects, it checks for newer firmware for your dash and asks once whether you want to see it. You can also browse releases at any time in App Settings → Firmware library.

Downloading needs an internet connection; installing needs the car. So download the update at home, then install it with the dash in range, even somewhere with no signal. Every install is confirmed on the dash itself, and can be cancelled there.
